At SIGGRAPH 2005, SplutterFish LLC, a high-end 3D rendering software solutions provider, will team up with The Orphanage and leading software manufacturers, including Autodesk, McNeel and Assoc., and Archvision, at booths around the convention show floor. The SplutterFish team will showcase the latest version of its Brazil r/s 2.0.
SplutterFish will demonstrate Brazil r/s v2.0. The latest release of its rendering software offers users new features that include: 3D motion blur, render-time displacement, support of 3ds max render-to-texture, enhanced GI features including render caches (irradiance, area lighting, subsurface scattering, etc.), core performance enhancements (memory, CPU, etc) and much more. Brazil r/s 2.0 promises to be the most controllable, high-performance rendering solution available while maintaining the highest quality output and artist-centric workflow top CG professionals have come to expected from Splutterfish. Brazil r/s 2.0 for 3ds max, VIZ and Rhinoceros are due out later this year.
Brazil r/s 2.0 for Rhinoceros
McNeel and SplutterFish have teamed up to integrate Brazil r/s into Rhinoceros, offering an advanced rendering solution to those customers in design areas including industrial, marine, jewelry design, graphics, multimedia and CAD/CAM who desire the ultimate in control and image quality. ArchVision and McNeel and Associates will also provide advanced previews of these SplutterFish technologies with daily demonstrations of the new Brazil r/ s for Rhinoceros. (Booth number: 1924)
Brazil r/s for Maya
Representatives from SplutterFish and its development partner, leading VFX studio The Orphanage (Booth number: 1160) will provide a technology preview demonstration Brazil r/s for Alias' Maya, which they are co-developing. No release date has yet been announced and preview demo times will be announced at a later date.
Brazil r/s for 3ds max and VIZ
In association with one of its premier film/VFX customers, Frantic Films, SplutterFish will appear daily on the Autodesk Media and Entertainment (Booth number: 2836) main theatre to demonstrate the use of Brazil r/s in a high-end production environment and to provide a glimpse of the next major Brazil r/s release for 3dsmax and VIZ.
