CAPCOM ADOPTS SOFTIMAGE|XSI AS MAIN GAME AUTHORING SOLUTION
Tokyo - September 20, 2002- At the Tokyo Game Show, Softimage Co., a subsidiary of Avid Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: AVID), announced today that Capcom Co. Ltd., a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, has adopted the SOFTIMAGE®|XSI® system, the industry’s leading 3-D nonlinear production environment, as its main game authoring solution.
