WHO | SplutterFish LLC, a high-end provider of 3D rendering software will team-up with leading visual effects facility Blur Studio to provide a presentation on high-end 3D rendering capabilities at the AILA’s ‘Animation 2003 Lecture Series.’
WHAT | SplutterFish will illustrate the latest technical advancements of its Brazil Rendering System™, a rock-solid, advanced, fully-integrated rendering suite for Discreet's top-selling animation software 3ds max. Noted for its control and superior image quality as a production tool, it continues to gain steady acceptance with cross visualization creatives around the in the film, broadcast, architectural and product visualization, design engineering, 3D cartoon-style animation, and CG research industries.
Brazil r/s has been used in numerous film and broadcast projects, including "The Core." It was also used as the primary rendering system to handle massive visual effects rendering on the current feature film, "Bulletproof Monk." The software was recently honored by leading industry publication Animation Magazine with its "Seal of Excellence Award."
Blur Studio, a leading broadcast design, animation and visual effects studio, will demonstrate how it maximized Brazil r/s and its enhanced Brazil Toon features in production, including the upcoming, "SpongeBob SquarePants 3-D" ride film. The five-minute computer-animated attraction is based on the hugely popular Nickelodeon cartoon series of the same name and is scheduled to launch at Paramount Parks shortly.
