As SIGGRAPH Asia 2010 approaches and the first local press conferences have revealed the extent of the sessions' technology, Seoul seems a little more exciting every day. The third SIGGRAPH Asia 2010 conference is set to open on the 15 to 18 December 2010. More than 8,000 multimedia experts from 50 countries will gather showcasing the latest advancements in computer graphics technologies for movies and games. In Posters, Papers, Internal festivals and sessions, the best of the world's CG minds will gather in Seoul for the first time.

On the 15th of December, at 6pm, join an entertaining, illuminating summary of SIGGRAPH Asia 2010 Technical Papers in one exciting, fun-filled hour! The authors are allowed only a minute to urge attendees to hear their complete paper presentations later in the week.
The SIGGRAPH Asia 2010 Technical Papers program is a premier international forum for presenting new research results in computer graphics and interactive techniques. Leading international experts from Asia and all over the world present the best results in peer-reviewed research in fluid, character, and crowd animation; sampling and filtering; geometric and volumetric reconstruction, modeling and rendering; computational imaging and video; and imaging hardware.Computer Animation Festival The Computer Animation Festival this year continues the tradition of showing the best from the submissions, selected from the cream of visual creative artists. The Electronic will also return with a magnificent visual summary of the year just gone. A two-hour overview of the best animations, visual effects, and scientific visualizations produced in the last year. The jury assembled this show to represent the must-see works in computer graphics for 2010. The Electronic Theater also includes a few pieces shown by special invitation. On opening night, 16 December, the Electronic Theater begins with presentation of the Computer Animation Festival's Best of Show and Best Technical Awards.
