ReTimer SD now offers video artists a 'one-stop' solution at an affordable price to smoothly slow down, or speed up the frame rate of any video, film, or image sequence, offering complete flexibility during post-production. ReTimer SD was recently introduced at MacExpo 2002 in London, and is the latest addition to the internationally acclaimed REALVIZ product portfolio, which includes: Stitcher, Stitcher EZ (pronounced easy'), ImageModeler, SceneWe@ver, MatchMover Professional and ReTimer.
REALVIZ ReTimer SD draws on the powerful engine central to the award-winning high-end software application, REALVIZ ReTimer. REALVIZ ReTimer SD provides a one-stop solution for efficient frame rate manipulation. With an innovative and robust technology, which enables the calculation of each individual pixel movement, ReTimer SD automatically generates new frames in between existing frames, for high-quality results when changing the speed of image sequences - and all without the need for expensive slow motion cameras.
REALVIZ ReTimer SD is a plug-in for Adobe® After Effects®, or compatible products, such as Discreet Combustion and Apple® Final Cut Pro, and is currently available for Microsoft® Windows®. A Mac OSX version of the product will begin shipping in January 2003. Specifically targeted at artists working with Standard Definition resolution, REALVIZ® ReTimer SD, enables users to process images, which are in Standard Definition Pal, or NTSC format.
