Pause Fest 2012 in Melbourne calling for submissions until August.
Australian-based Pause Fest is calling for submissions to their digital media festival due for 8-11 November 2012. Submissions will be accepted up until 1 August.
Pause Fest is a festival combining screenings of digital video and animations, interactive digital installations, digital industry leaders talks and panel discussions and interactive events, having come together after an extremely successful inaugural festival in 2011. The video of highlights in the screened submissions is below.
The November festival aims to bring the international online community offline, transforming the streets, studios and exhibition spaces throughout Melbourne’s CBD into high-engagement hubs, presenting the world’s best creative work.
Pause Fest fosters the bond between young talent and the commercial industry, helping to continually inspire new ideas. It is a place for networking, and culminating business opportunities by showcasing the work of the world’s top agencies and artists, sharing the local knowledge and passion, educating visitors to the city and embracing the changed landscapes of creativity and art in the Post-PC era.
