According to a press release issued earlier today by Ford Entertainment Group and Luxology, their Lightwave 7.5 Character Animation Training Tour has met with overwhelmingly positive response by attendees. The LightWave 7.5 Character Animation Tour consists of in-depth training on intermediate and advanced methods and techniques including modeling as related to character setup, character rigging, animation concepts and features, and advanced animation techniques. The hands-on nature of the teaching, in contrast to lecture only tours, really allows the students to assist in ‘creating’ the final product, and as a result, students are able to take home the experience instead of just pages of notes.
Ford Entertainment International’s LightWave 7.5 Character Animation Tour began in October and will continue through spring 2003 with additional Canadian, U.S. and worldwide dates. For the 2002 dates, there is still limited space available for the Los Angeles stop on November 16th and 17th. For additional information on tour dates and to register for classes, visit the Ford Entertainment Group International website.
