Discreet Re-Affirms Commitment to Mac OS X

On the showfloor today at MacWorld San Francisco, Discreet announced updates to cleaner and combustion, both of which are OS X native products.

New in cleaner 6.01, Discreet's professional video and audio encoding software solution, is support for the Kinoma 1.5 exporter that allows video playback on Palm OS 5 based PDAs. This week, Macworld show attendees can see video playback on the Sony Clie and enter to win one at the Discreet booth.


combustion 2.1, Discreet's unified paint, animation and 3D compositing software application, is now accessible to a wider range of creative professionals at the newly announced price of US $995. With these software updates, Discreet stays committed to the Apple Macintosh community and the desktop video professional market.
