Submission deadline for the animago AWARD 2012 extended til 24 July.
The registration deadline for the 16th animago AWARD has been extended, and digital artists from all over the world will now have until 24 July 2012 to hand in their work. Productions in the fields of film, still and interactive genres can be registered online at www.animago.com. Participation is free of charge and open to professionals and young up-and-comers alike.
The awards presentation will take place on Thursday 25 October 2012 as part of the animago AWARD & CONFERENCE (25-26 October 2012) in Potsdam-Babelsberg.
The 11 categories of the animago AWARD 2012 are as follows: Best Character Animation, Best Post-Production, Best Short Film, Best Advertising Production, Best Interactive Production, Best Game Design, Best Stereo-3D Production, Best Visualisation, Best Young Production (with € 3,000 in prize money from DIGITAL PRODUCTION), Jury’s Prize, Best Still: DIGITAL PRODUCTION Readers Prize. In 2011, roughly 900 productions from all over the world were submitted to the animago AWARD.
