The role of a CGI Supervisor will be to provide technical and creative supervision of projects, as well as contributing to the overall global creative strategy and artistic vision.

This position will be office out of the Etobicoke, ON location


Essential Responsibilities, Accountabilities & Results
• Direction and delivery of all phases of creative work from concept through production.
• Project management and allocation of resources on projects.
• Requires knowledge of project management tools/methodologies.
• Responsible for leading and mentoring junior creative staff.
• Prioritize workload with CGI producer to ensure team’s expectations are met and managed.
• Responsible for leading and mentoring junior creative staff.

Plus Skills
• Shotgun experience
• Hands on Maya/Vray experience
• CPG product experience
• Experience working in a CGI environment

Competency Requirements
• Previous experience in a creative leadership role within VFX or CGI
• In-depth knowledge of all aspects of creative production in VFX or CGI.
• Strong ability to provide clear creative direction and feedback to improve creative processes to keep work on budget and within schedule
• Strong ability to prioritize work and resources based on short and long-term needs
• Demonstrable experience leading and managing teams
• Able to adapt quickly to ever-evolving tech and workflow adaptations
• Able to communicate succinctly and professionally with staff and clients
