3D Graphic Design Artist/Technician position requires the ability to create photo Quality 3D renders for the packaging industry to be used for numerous Clients. The person must have the ability to work in 3d modeling applications as well as Illustrator and Photoshop. Incumbents typically have an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Design, Advertising, Communication or related degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience within Design & Prepress.

Create out-of-the-box structural design prototypes; create 3D renders and animation based on client needs, model structures from sales samples & photos, manipulate color to meet client expectations, manipulate art per client & plant request and design adaptation.

Requirements

Must have working knowledge of image carrier color separation as related to packaging graphics production.

Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suites and 3D Software
Additional knowledge of 3D scanning & product photography a plus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, physically type data into a computer keyboard, interact verbally in person and on the phone, make verbal presentations, vision to include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision. Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
